A Smokin’ Good Time at The County Line – BBQ Bliss Awaits! Review

Hey there, fellow foodies! If you haven’t yet made your way down to The County Line in San Antonio, TX for a BBQ extravaganza, you’re seriously missing out. I mean, think about the joy of unwrapping a gift—now imagine that gift is filled with the most succulent, mouth-watering, and perfectly smoked meats. Yes, that’s The County Line for you!

From the moment we stepped in, it was clear we were in for a treat. The aroma of smoked meats wafted through the air, setting our taste buds into overdrive. But let’s not skip the real MVP here—Tabitha, our waitress, who could only be described as the epitome of service with a smile. She was attentive, friendly, and had that kind of outgoing vibe that made us feel right at home. She’s the kind of waitress who remembers your refill before you even realize you’re parched. Thanks to her, we felt like the only customers in the place!

Now, let’s talk about the main event—the 5 Meat Smokehouse Combo. It’s like the Avengers of BBQ plates. We’re talking Pork Ribs, a Beef Rib, Peppered Turkey, Sausage, and Brisket, each piece cooked to perfection with just the right amount of smoke. The meat fell off the bone like it was trying to jump right into my mouth. Marvelous!

Choosing only two sides felt like choosing a favorite child, but we settled on the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Each side dish was a comforting hug to our stomachs. But wait—there’s more! We couldn’t pass up the Queso Fries, which were a cheesy, gooey paradise, and the Old Fashioned Burger with cheese and bacon, which was a stack of pure joy. The burger was so good, it felt like a betrayal to every other burger I’ve had before.

Oh, and can we have a round of applause for their strawberry lemonade? It was the cherry on top of an already fabulous meal—refreshing with just the right twist of sweet and tangy. It’s the kind of drink that makes you wish it was socially acceptable to sip through a straw all day long.

Our first visit to The County Line was a homerun, no, a grand slam! With food this good and service that makes you feel like royalty, it’s safe to say this won’t be our last visit. I’m already planning our next trip because, let’s be real, one does not simply eat BBQ once and move on.

So, if you haven’t been to The County Line yet, what are you even doing? Grab your friends, your family, heck, even your neighbor’s dog, and head over. If you love BBQ even half as much as I do, you’ll leave planning your next visit too! And when you go, don’t forget to ask for Tabitha; she’ll make sure your BBQ dreams come true!
