[Review] The NEW and IMPROVED Influenster.com

For those of you who already know what Influenster is, you’ll be happy to know that they’ve re-done or revamped their website. The all NEW and IMPROVED Influenster website now is more user friendly and gives the members a better way of being interactive with the site.

Don’t know what Influenster is? Well Influenster is a FREE community of invited trendsetters who love to give their opinions of products offered from the Influenster team as well as talk about thier experiences with the products. In order to qualify for a box of goodies you’ll have to unlock some badges and in order for you to unlock badges you’ll have to take short surveys. It’s very simple and very easy to start. Once you’ve qualified for a box, you’ll have the opportunity to review what’s in your box on the Influenster website and/or other social media outlets. All of the boxes are themed based. For example they might have something to do with Spring or Summer or something dealing with a holiday like Valentine’s day.

Just keep in mind that depending on what badges you’ve unlocked or your demographics, you may or may not get a box. But if you are selected for a box you will get an email letting you know that you’ve been preselected. You then log on to the website and accept the offer and wait for the box to arrive in the mail.

Now that you’ve got the basics of what Influenster is, lets talk about the things that are new. Influenster now has: Influenster Scores, Public Profiles, LifeStage & Expert Badges, and Invite-Only membership. Each one of these helps determines how much of an Influenser you are.

Influenster Score: Your score is ranked from 0-100 and is the largest measure of your influence. So the higher your score is, the higher your rank is. This also will help determine your Expert & LifeStage Badges. These badges will help you qualify to be part of an Influenster program. You can help your scores go up by showing your social influence by being active on the site, connect your other social media channels and write good quality reviews that other members in the community will find useful.

Expert & LifeStage Badges: The Expert Badges shows off your level of expertise and influence in various areas. You can earn up to five (5) Expert Badges to start with. The more active you are, the more Expert Badges you’ll unlock. The LifeStage Badges reflect who you are and where you are in your life. You don’t have a limit to start with LifeStage badges, so feel free to complete as much as you can that represent who you are. Again be active, leave reviews, complete tasks and raise your scores. The higher your score is also gets your better chances of qualifying for a program.

Invite Only: Influenster is now an Invite Only community. To be part of this exclusive community, new members are now required to request an invite to join. If you were already a member before the NEW & IMPROVED Influenster then no need to worry. You already have a membership and can invite up to five (5) friends. The more influential your referrals, the higher your Influenster Score will rise.
