Disney On Ice – Let's Celebrate Review

WhatIThoughtThank you to US Family Guide for providing my family with 4 tickets to Disney on Ice – Let’s Celebrate.

Once again Disney on Ice was amazing! The ice skating was impeccable, the costumes were fantastic and the performance was truly mesmerizing. Not only did the characters do a fantastic job performing but they also got the audience involved which made it a fun experience for the whole family.

Disney on Ice – Let’s Celebrate was filled with different celebrations and holidays from around the world. We got to go to an Unbirthday Party with Alice in Wonderland, a Halloween Party with some of the Disney Villains, a Valentine’s Day ball with lovable Disney couples, a Hawaiian Luau with Lilo and Stitch, and a Christmas holiday get together with Woody and the Toy Story gang. We also got to celebrate Mardi Gras and the Chinese New Year.

The show starts of with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gang having a very Merry Unbirthday party with Alice in Wonderland. We got to see the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, Tweddle Dee and Tweddle Dum.

Off we went, back in time to catch a Sorcerer Mickey and his magic dancing brooms in the Disney Classic Fantasia. The lights dimmed down and the blacklights came on in full effect enhancing this awesome performance.

Uh oh, a Halloween fright! This Halloween party was filled with some of Disney’s Villains that will surely give you a scare. Jack Skellington from the Night Before Christmas was our host and some of the guests included were Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmations, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, The Witch from Snow White, and Jafar from Aladdin. The witch tried to get Mickey to eat an apple and the crowd kept yelling out “NOOOOO”. Then of course Minnie, Daisy, Donald,Goofy and Pluto came along dressed in ghost costumes to scare the villains away.

When love is in the air and you try to find your prince charming. We set off with Minnie to celebrate Valentine’s Day and help her find her prince charming. Fairy godmother showed up to show Minnie that true love exists and showed her some examples of true love. Our lovable Disney couples came in skating to their special songs from their movies.

Every one loves summer vacation and what better way to start it with traveling to Hawaii for a Hawaiian Luau with Lilo and Stitch. There were surfers and a ring of fire. It was amazing to see the performers surf across the ice on a surfboard. The ring of fire definitely was the highlight of the Hawaii skit.

During their travels, Mickey and Minnie ends up splitting from one another. So now, they have to try and find their way back to each other.

After Mickey and Minnie find each other what better way to end the show with a great family get together for the holidays. The Christmas holiday get together starts off with the Donald, Daisy and Pluto getting ready for the holidays with a big fireplace. All of a sudden here comes Goofy down the chimney as Santa bringing with him Jessie, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the Toy Story gang. It was such an amazing site to watch Hamm and Rex on skates!

At the end of the show, everyone comes back for a huge finale. There was snow, Christmas lights and a big sleigh with Mickey and Minnie riding on it.

Overall, I’m very impressed with this Disney on Ice production. It was full of magical moments. I loved that they had a big jumbotron screen up showing scenes from what movie they were talking about. Great performances, great costumes, great show! My family and I enjoyed it very much!

Disney on Ice is super fun for the entire family. You and your family will have a magical time enjoying all of your favorite characters on the ice. If you haven’t been to Disney on Ice before I recommend you take yourself, spouse, and your children out to see the wonderful show.
